I find when I’m at the cottage I do a lot of cooking with fresh ingredients from local farm stands and farmers markets. The cottage is where I become creative with vegetables and I love the freedom that comes with cooking without a recipe! This weekend, I came up with Bacon Breakfast Tacos, which can really be made at anytime, not just for breakfast and you can make them with whatever ingredients you like or have on hand!
Mother’s Day is approaching fast and to avoid getting your mama something last minute, here is your perfect gift guide! All moms are different so I’ve come up with gifts for moms with different hobbies and interests. Treat your mama bear to something special this year because moms are really what make the world go round!
I’ll just come right out and say it, I have this thing for French food. Maybe it’s the perfect ambience in nearly all French restaurants and bistros, maybe it’s because French technique is simple and they let the ingredients shine, or maybe it has something to do with butter and their frequent use of it. Honestly, it’s probably all of the above. A few weeks ago, I visited Lavelle for the first time and here is my review
One of my goals for 2017 was to eat healthier! I’m slowly getting into the groove of eating whole grains, less dairy and fewer sweets but it’s so hard when donuts and brioche are all I want! Just the other day I came across this Healthy Banana Bread recipe from Cookie & Kate and after testing it out myself and making some slight tweaks, I had to share because the result is guilt-free and utterly delicious!
I was born on Monday, March 15th 1993 at 11:48 am in Toronto. Even though I’m not even halfway through my twenties, I feel I have a good handle on the world so far and even though the future as a young adult can seem intimidating, I can’t wait to see where my life takes me and how it all unfolds. Here is a list of 24 things I’ve learned throughout my life thus far and over the course of the past year!
When I’m not cooking and testing out new recipes, I love going out and trying new things and different foods! One of the many things I love about this city is that there is always a new cuisine to sample! Here is a list of my fave T.O restaurants!
I am a food magazine addict. There. I said it! The only downfall is how pricy they are! I’m so glad I have the Texture app because if I didn’t, I’d pay an arm and a leg (or should that be a wing and leg?) every month for the latest recipes! Here is a list of my top fave foodie mags!
